It shouldn't. In vsc saving should be enough to register changes on current working branch even when unstaged

And yeah you should stage the files you commit manually as you might add some stuff you don't want in the commit as well

when in doubt <@219952234098720769> always provide the output of `git status` this helps a lot to people understand it

I figured it out! Thnaks to everyone who commented! The issue was less complex than I thought, I just needed to update from the master branch Smile)))
