That and Mac blocked 32bit executables. So you can't even natively run 3.3.5 on Mac - need to use an emulator of some sorts for it.

Only if you're using Catalina or above. It's also not a block, they just removed support for it.

Blocking would mean they did it to stop you from using it when they did it because they thought it doesn't make sense to support what they deem to be an unused system.
