Quote: So lets keep this short and simple. I changed Drain Soul so that when you start it you get two souls that come out of your hands. Here's a pic:
Instructions:
1) Download the MPQ file here: NewDrainSoul patch-9.MPQ
2) Put the file in World of Warcraft > Data
3) Rename it patch-x.MPQ (replace x with any number 3-9 or letter a-z)
4) Run wow and enjoy.
FAQ:
Q: Does it require MEF?
A: Nope. I don't want to run anything along with wow so I won't make you do it either. I'm sure that sooner or later blizz is gonna patch warden to detect MEF and then ... well lets not talk about that.
Q: Why are there 2 souls that come out? You are only draining one soul, that's dumb.
A: Sorry, there's nothing I can do about that. I took the graphic from soul shatter. Soul shatter shatters two souls (even though it only requires one shard). Talk to blizzard about that.
Q: Why do the souls come out at the beginning instead of the end?
A: Because I replaced a graphic that occurs at the beginning. I wish that blizz would give some kinda graphic on the mob after you steal it's soul but they don't. Sorry.
Q: The souls stay out for the entire duration of the spell... that looks kinda weird.
A: Then don't use it. Or only use it when your target is gonna die soon.... Really you probably won't even notice.
