i am currently stuck at the *Populating the database* step of the default installation.
starting the authserver does not seem to work, the console closes immediately.
same for the worldserver - therefore all databases stay empty and i am kinda clueless because there is no real "error"
Update: nvm somehow accidentally skipped the updating of the conf files and removing .dist ...

Update on my issue:
If I manually grab the data inside my "ahbot.conf.dist" config file and paste it into my Worldserver.conf - it runs perfectly with no errors.

Did I do something wrong when building/compiling or miss a step? I thought it would pre-populate the Worldserver.conf file without me having to manually do that

You need to make a copy of the .dist file, remove the .dist extension leaving only .conf, and make your changes there

I see, where do I place that copy of the file? Same directory as WorldServer.exe or WorldServer.conf?

last question (if you don't mind) I've edited the db values and the config file, but AHBot is only added 249 items to the Auction House
