You should post an issue for this. You are right, these characters should be valid for a character name. It is not something that should be fixed by a mod.

i realized i didn't post the actual error: fatal error: file '/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/asm/ioctl.h' has been modified since the precompiled header '/home/ubuntu/azerothcore/var/build/obj/src/common/CMakeFiles/common.dir/cmake_pch.hxx.pch' was built: mtime changed (was 1692003934, now 1693920716)
