I mean sure. But this is all new to me. Start WHAT exactly? Where? Do I need a certain patch? Does it need to be installed ina certain directory? The entire guide is like "X needs to be installed IN THIS EXACT WAY or it wont work" and then at the end is like "go ahead and start the game". So I think you can understand maybe how I would be confused, because I've bene primed to maybe not only start WoW, but maybe in a specific way, from a specific client, etc.

It would be common to try it if it doesn't tell you to start it in a specific way.

Well it's frustrating that some people can't take a step back and remember what it's like to be very new to a thing. And as someone who writes documentation for his job sometimes, these are details I look for.

I mean, if you're installing a new piece of hardware I can understand the instructions are important but I mean, almost everyone who looks to get AzerothCore up and running has at some point connected to a private server and at least know what the game is. That's not me being an asshole, I'm just saying how it usually is.
