I combined 2 old models into one and added some of my own shapes, so wow "does" treat it as a custom model, plus I had to create my own UV Map so I could create a texture.
I'll look into these particle programs a bit more and see what I can do with them. If I could add some glowing or something like that, this will open a world of oppurtunities for me
