Did you recompile using CMake and Visual Studio?
After that, did you run any SQL files from ..azerothcore-wotlk\modules\MODULENAME\sql ?

I did notice that world server did some core update sqls when I updated my server a couple days ago. When I first put in modules, I ran the sql's and didn't notice or see if worldserver did for those.

Some modules support it, others don't. If they rely on custom tables and the SQL isn't executed automatically the worldserver will stop and tell you. If they simply change some data it will not, however.

If there is a config for the module it's easy enough to tell by looking in the configs/modules folder to see if it's there.
