They can do battlegrounds, arenas, dungeons, raids, run around with you in the regular world and help you do quests, you can enable it so you run into them in the world and possibly get ganked.

Well, if you want to use the latest available commit of AC, you can apply the patch yourself from https://github.com/trickerer/trinity-bots but yes that's the repository with the patch already applied.
