If you only use one set of client data files, leaving DataDir as `.` and just placing the files in the same place as worldserver.exe is fine.

like so but of course I use Linux but you can clearly see worldserver is in the same folder. No need to set that silly DataDir.

Hello, total noob question here
I'm following Dinkledork's Spell Editor guide and it seems I'm missing a step to import my new spell to the game.
I'm guessing I'm not copying the spell editor export files in the right folder.
All the "Spell*.dbc" copied into \Wow Server\node-dbc-reader-master\data\dbc
patch-4.mpq copied into \Wow Server\ChromieCraft_3.3.5a\Data
In game : Spell ID doesn't exist
In his video his Data folder is just on his desktop, so I'm not actually sure if I'm using the correct data folder or if I need to do something else.

Hi Machie, we don't do modifications of any clients here. You might want to ask somewhere else.
