IT's obviously already well done since a guy like me with 0 linux experience managed to follow it, i feel like more general information could help, even if google is my friend.
For example, i first couldnt find a way to start the authserver and worldserver using cli

i dont know maybe honey could tell if its supposed to be for absolute beginners personally i would say that u are expected to have some knowledge prior to using something like AC

random machine sending random packets as portscans. save to ignore unless you have performance problems. Then just ban the IP
