kind of related, i wonder if autobalance will let me scale upwards to, make 5man heroics scaled for 10 people so i dont have to aqwuardly split the group gearing for pre-kara

Well, I don't know if autobalance handles that right now but you also have to edit DBC or the core to support more than 5 players in a 5-man to begin with.
