Who pays creates. Why should they invest money in something they have nothing from? It's also bought and played that way Yes, people even pay extra money at Blizzard to get a game a few days early xD It's easier to make money than to improve an engine.

if u want to use some new maps in wotlk client its quite noticeable some are unplayable but its still far from what we now have in hardware
