depends who u are i knew ppl who learnt c++ from 1500 page book when books were still cool and there is also some1 like me who would never do that

and c++ got lot of things which are not rly needed but u wont be able to know which are which when u are beginner whereas when u start in different language and switch to c++ u can chose what u want
