I have a question about instance binding - is it normal to have a long binding for several days? Is there any benefit, performance or otherwise, to set the binding shorter?

shorter lockouts mean faster progress.

lockouts can be 1 day, 3 days or 7 days for most blizlike dungeons/raids.

the reason why I am asking is because I ran into a little glitch where I had 8 or 9 instances all bind at the same time. I am not sure if this is the cause but on the last one during the instance I was ejected by the server and I couldn't get back into it. Eventually I just `.instance bind` one by one to resolve my issue. It was then I started to think about the instance bind time.
