If you save the file it should automatically upload the changed file. I do this using WinSCP all the time.

If you're using docker, you're have to change ownership (or permissions) to whatever user that you want to edit the file with.
`sudo chown $USER: env/docker -R`

If you're using docker, you're have to change ownership (or permissions) to whatever user that you want to edit the file with.

If that, for some reason, doesn't work you could transfer the file to your machine, edit it and send it back.

for whatever reason, the docker containers run as root and save the config files as only root-writeable

I don't see it mentioned that they're using Docker but I see `env/dist/etc/worldserver.conf` which of course if they're not using Docker, won't exist.

I edit using WinSCP if there are a lot of options I need to edit. If not, I use vim.
