strangely enough, Azerothcore was pretty easy to get working in OpenBSD ports. All I had to do is patch 3 files.. 2 of which were in the Cryptography section where the original coder used _I as a variable which is actually reserved namespace in clang, so I had to remove the _ and name it something else.. and the other bit was removing #define HAVE_XLOCALE_H from the OpenBSD section.. and it all compiled smoothly. OpenBSD has its own cmake module in ports which handles configuration quite nicely.

I would submit it to ports in OpenBSD, but because Azerothcore seems to be a rolling release with no actual official releases.. it makes it difficult to "sell" to the ports/cvs maintainers.
