I'd check the AC/Chromiecraft issues pages if it's mentioned there, if it ain't then maybe open one

Well I didn't know if something like that was something to be added to the base repo, considering this particular usage is custom it seems

Well, there are a lot of custom stuff inside the base repository. It doesn't modify the client in any way and doesn't change anything to be different from Blizzlike so I personally don't see why it would be denied in that case.
