There's no harm in setting it to your wan IP if you're not port forwarding, but you could leave it as is or 127.0.0.1

ah okay, so at least now I can see in my pcap that there is the authentication challenge taking place. I wasn't seeing this before and was expecting it as is the norm when logging into a legitimate server
