In all seriousness though while I understand the official stance there are people that are working on azerothcore now and in the past in a higher capacity that have also contributed to and or released their own repacks. Not all the repacks are azerothcore base that the people I am referring to have had part in either. My point in saying this is that it isn't fair to say every repack is from some shifty character, and I'm not suggesting you're saying that. And honestly some of the repacks are very well done. I would also maintain that it is better for a person to learn to compile and set up their own server as well. If there wasn't some real demand and or need for repacks I suppose they wouldn't exist, beyond that a repack may be the first step in someone's journey to compiling, setting up a server and potentially some level of development.
