No cause they would conflict with each other, unless you are talking about have both installed and using one or the other.

i mean that server would allow both....obviously it would have to be handled for each of them separately in code but idk if there are some limitations

basically i just want to know if there is possibility of backward compatibility in case core will be updated to use 3 so it wouldnt force every single user to instantly update to 3 if they want to update their servers

It would only be an issue if it wasn’t available in some Linux packages or something but I don’t believe it’s the case

It is installed as any other module, but needs to be using a custom fork of AzerothCore instead of the regular AzerothCore master. The link to the correct fork is in the README. It is still having many bugs and development to complete, though, so I do not recommend use it yet for actual playing.

Ran it for nearly a full day with 1800 bots or so connected with no crash, so that's definitely progress
