Quote: I started with Milkshape 3D then 3DSMax but went over to Maya after the education i went to only used that in their lections.
Yeah i tried that Soul Eater but the result was REALLY BAD!
Could try again i guess but dunno how it will look...
Think i'll finish my non-combat pet first and try texturing him, shouldn't be too much of a problem really.

Quote:Ghehe, well depends how you are texturing your models, if you already maked your models into 1 mesh nvm then. I always texture seperate meshes before I attach them into 1 piece, this makes texturing much much more easier. For example, I should seperate the stave, round thingy, spikes and the blade thingy to make texturing easier. And after I applied the texture, I combine them onto 1 mesh and then exporting it, and they don't lose their UVW map when you attach them onto 1 mesh luckily.

Quote: Well thats how i usually do it and thats actually how i have done it, they are 3 objects that have been uvw mapped separately, however its the part where you actually get it into PS to add texture to it, i cannot get it to look good that way.
Anyway, my non-combat pet is pretty much finished, if you want i can post the untextured version, going to try texture it now.
