Actually, you'd have to have a character that you send it from, I think.

Yes, that thing about creating an npc, I can do it.
What I couldn't do in the db was to send the message and the objects.

Well, the module only accepts 1 item. It would be possible to add more but I don't have the time to do that right now.

what would be cool is if you could setup a table in the db that takes an event id as one of the columns so it sends mail when an event triggers
