Another model that I made, I've recently finished watching Shakugan no Shana (very nice serie btw) and a model was bound to be made, one of the best series I watched so far ^^

Well I dunnow anything more to say, people who thinks it's a regular katana, they are right, but it's the hilt and tsuba that actually make the difference, as for the blade, that just looks almost like every blade. Maybe I put some japanese signs on it or something so it looks at least a bit different.

Reason why this is still a WIP is because my 3DS converter went boom so I cant convert it properly into a M2 lol.

AND I'm planning to make the blade bigger. But people sometimes dislike it so I want to hear some opinions about it.

Anyways comments are appreciated, just don't go in this topic and say things like "OMG ANIME IS G*Y" or something. As if this was only the model that I posted and I didn't said the source of it then you people wouldn't think of it as a anime model right? So seriously, only constructive critism/comments or something if ya know what I mean.

Quote:Texturing models? If ya mean UVW mapping then try finding tutorials on google or read the one of Glitchy, it's posted somewhere in the model editing section. If ya mean making the texture self then don't ask me, as stated Im not a photoshop pro, I can only work great with gradient tool and magic wand tool, yeaa ^^

Quote:Dunnow in which program yer edit so I cant tell, basically I use 3ds max for modeling and uvw mapping, and then editing the texture in photoshop or something, and dunnow if I gonna write a little guide bout it, there's not much interest in it and there are plenty of guides how to do it on google if I remember correctly.

And the unwrap thingy is so the model got uvw mapping, after unwrap you just export the mapping and edit it and then you add it in material browser and apply it onto the model.

And ty for compliment Synth, once again I managed to go overboard with faces and vertices [Image: biggrin.png] almost over 9k lol.
