I’m on a relatively recent Nighthawk so it should be able to handle it. I guess I could update the local realmlist to local host, but then it wouldn’t work when we travel

The local address is, as far as I know, only to tell the authserver where to reach the worldserver on its own.

If it doesn't work, check https://portchecker.co/ to make sure the ports are actually open. The processes has to be running or it won't respond, of course.
