When it's ready I'm sure the AC fork used is going to be added to the official repo. Just not until it's stable.

It is very in development. It does work, especially using only own party bots and not randombots, but they are not very smart and still quite having crash. If you are wanting a smooth gameplay experience and not goal of just testing, I would recommend to not use it yet. But hopefully it will be more better soon when some of the worst remaining issues are resolved.
Right now biggest issue is that formation string are getting interpret as action commands, which cause AI to stall because of invalid actions. But I haven't spent enough time debug this yet to find where this is cause to happen.
