it is on by deafult, but options are found in the conf files. It updates automatically when you start worldserve & authserver

the issue would still happen even with the updater, you can never skip past the squash commit

You should really remove the no longer supported stuff from the repo, like the db-assembler etc. It seems to cause more confusion than it's worth.

i usually follow the instructions on `https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/ac-dashboard-core-installation` whenever i want to update.

stop the servers, run `git pull` , then `./acore.sh compiler build` unless an error pops up then i clean, then re-run compiler build. and then finally update the database. with `./acore.sh db-assembler import-updates`

but if there's a DB squash commit, you need to .git checkout the commit just before the squash, run your server, then update it with the remaining commits
