Yeah, for some reason MySQL is the "mainstream" with most people, I don't know I always preferred MariaDB any day.

but ye, # in passwords broke everything and the logs pointed kinda to different stuff

and well, problem was i had separate login credentials to each db, and 2 of 3 had # in them
