Lua table is wiped when you reload eluna or shut down the core.
SQL table can be read back into a Lua table after a restart/reload. So pick what suits your needs.

yep, understood . For their use case since it is a 5 hour buff, seems like it would be bad for lua table does not seem like you would want player behavior impacted based on server restart.

In that case I meant Lua table, but it could be backed by a SQL table for persistence
