In this case, it’s because it’s what’s “officially” the supported way of making accounts (outside of rcon or direct console access.)

There’s an argument to be made about security and reducing attack surface area (one less service with database access) but that’s not a huge deal imo

I would probably construct a queue and pop from the front as the event in the show happens. The static data could be stored in an array and copied when used

It would remove the need to track position since you’d be replaying the event one item at a time
