Before making a PR, I just want to make sure i'm not missing something.
I noticed that if, say, an Alliance player is flagged for PvP and a Horde player is not, then if the Horde player uses some AoE spell while the Alliance is in range of that, it will hit and then flag the Horde player for PvP.
Is this the correct/blizzlike behaviour for 3.3.5a?
For as long as I can remember, all AoE spells have always been ignored by enemy players if cast by a player who is not flagged for pvp, obviously to prevent griefing, but I could be wrong.
It can be fixed quite easily it seems, but ye.. thoughts?

I already looked into that a while back and couldn't find any information saying it should enable pvp.

I guess if possible a good start would be to test WotLK Classic so you at least know that much. One could argue that the mechanic of not enabling pvp is because it was changed by Blizzard and isn't 3.3.5 blizzlike though.

Ah ye thats good. Ye, i know already that it works like this in Classic vanilla and tbc, so I would assume it does so in Classic wrath aswell, but as you said we cant really know if its true to 3.3.5 as blizz did add some QoL stuff to classic.
