i think you want to try wow_spell_editor. You can export the edited spell to sql and apply it to your database in the `spell_dbc` table.

That's correct, it only contains those spells that YOU decide to override the original dbc files with. If it's empty, it uses only the .dbc files.

Hence my recommendation to use wowspelleditor and use it to extract spells from dbc.
