[Archive] [RELEASE] Osmium Blade from CABAL Online
Quote:
This is a DIY release and is provided as is. I will not rename the model and pack it for you, so you need to know how to create an MPQ. Inside the MPQ, keep the file structure the way it is in the rar file (ie. all files go into "Item\Objectcomponents\weapon\" {after you rename the model, ofc}).
The base mesh was taken from CABAL Online, then tweaked a little in milkshape. This model has alpha-transparency, enchant points, and a metal finish (the reflective shine you see on a lot of weapons and armour). I am in the process of fully-understanding texture animation, so once I figure it out this model will be updated to make it look almost identical to the original blade in CABAL Online.

Quote: There are problems with someone trying to get it ingame here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...apon-swap.html. Please check in there if you have to make some additions. It seems to be invisible ingame.

Quote: o.O It was working fine for me ingame >_< I'll check it again :S I didn't test it ingame after I added the enchantment points... hmm.. It worked fine with the reflection though. Anyways, I'll post back as soon as I take another look.

Quote: OK, I fixed it. It was a stupid mistake I made >_< I had to add the texture names to the end of the file so I could have the textures inside folders in the MPQ, and also so I could point to the BLP I used for reflection. Here's where I made the mistake: when I changed the texture filename length data for the reflection BLP (ITEM\OBJECTCOMPONENTS\WEAPON\ARMORREFLECT4.BLP), I set it to 46 instead of 2E (I accidently used the decimal value instead of hex)... *facepalm* Anyways, sorry about that guys. It works perfectly now, so just redownload it and have fun
