It mustn't be stopped. But it is Not only my opinion that AC will Not adopt another core now.

But if we'll look on TC - they are make 1 fix and apply it to several cores which can accept it. I mean we can slowly adapt several versions in parallel without wasting time.

I had such experience only with Lineage - we developed all versions from T0 to HighFive, and any fix was almost instantly applied to all versions, although the fix itself was developed for a really long time
