in the past they would reset, teleport you to them, or teleport to you (pretty common in ZG to have a fish just hanging around on the beach slapping people). I have a feeling the pathfinding here has some issue, but the mob should still be able to reach you. Could also be that something told them to stop, there's a function that does that and freezes mobs in place until ... forever more or less

if I remember correctly dungeon mobs have some prevention to not evade in cases where normal open-world creatures would

some but not much, they evade eventually (useful strat for eg speedruns, but also Mandokir for instance) if they cannot reach normally

yeah it's while investigating a bug report that I'm coming across it, I was more hoping someone had seen something regarding a change to mobs entering/not entering combat
