is the gold cap a client or server limitation? try `.money add 200000000` until you hit >214k gold and it resets to zero. The column can obviously be changed on the server to support a larger integer but I assume the client uses a 32 bit int so won't have any effect regardless of what the sever does?

thanks, that's what I suspected. I asked as with mod-auctionator it's both way too easy to approach it, and it lists items for sale that are above the cap so you can't even buy them
