According to wowhead tbc it has 25,000 health, and that shouldn't include the WotLK health nerf.

I found a post from 2007 that says it has 26000 something HP. I have no clue why IP made that choice. It even calls it in a comment Caribdis’s totem (she is the healer and does not spawn totems).

IP has very few modifications to TBC content in general so it certainly is a strange choice.
