but anyways me, schlumpf and xayo (don't forget to give them rep too)have been working on this project. What we are trying to accomplish is the world first animated custom mount
we had a slightly animated version a while back .. but the model had mistakes and smoothing errors all over the place so i needed to reexport, meaning that they had to start over >.<. But instead of doing that we made that halo sword as a side project

The model - done
texture - done
100% transparency on custom textures - working (finally figured it out >.<)
alpha blending - working
animations - in progress
Particles - in progress
Mount point - in progress

Well here was the design i did before i started modeling
then the model was done
and after a freaking 30 hours orso of texture painting it looks like this
Do know these are renders from maya .. model viewer pictures will be added later, but trust me there is almost no quality los
