What's the point of the override table then? If I have to manually edit the client dbc, wouldn't I just use that edited dbc file to build the server data?

The point is to override server-side, most commonly used for server-side fixes

You can also change stuff for the server without touching the client and it'll still work. Like changing instance requirement, max player count etc you technically don't have to change the client so dropping a row in the DBC tables solves that without having to distribute DBC files.

Drop rates are far from blizzlike currently. Way too many blues and epics drop. I had to lower configuration for them to like 0.2

The problem with that is then you start hitting things that seem to otherwise have proper rates, notably rare drops from bosses like recipes and mounts.

Either way, azerothcore drop rates are horribly off. I'd rather things be less common overall than finish a BRD run with 10 Boe epics in bag
