I see. To be honest PR 22370 seems like a nuclear option in its blanket target of invalid spells. I fear it might cause more trouble to people than it solves, as opposed to some other approach to the issue in a more nuanced way.
And I see on the PR thread few hours ago, someone has posted an instance of a false positive targeting of a valid spell. Is it a good idea to keep this merged?
