i had this issue a few years ago and it was 1 setting i changed fixed it - assuming its the same issue - i just cant find the dang setting like which one it was

i tired both ... raMouseEnable 1, disable hardware mouse, turn off gaming mode (for some reason i feel like this was the issue in the past)

It's in the database. The acore_auth db has a table called realmlist. You can use a program like heidisql to easily view/edit it

You don't open it in the traditional sense. If mysql is running, you connect to the database using a username and password
