as it should be
I've always loved the Howling Fjords zonemusic, but when i heard this song i just couldn't resist making an edit of it. I made an video and it has ingame music only, so no music is added after videoing.
*) You should hear the sound when you enter a zone "Howling Fjord" in Northrend but its not 100% sure that you do because i left in some old music files to make the sound playing much more rare, so you will be surprised and won't get bored to it too fast.
I won't tell you the name of the song or artist, but i suggest to take look at the YT description because its included there.
FAQ:
Q: Shouldn't this be posted to UI forum?
A: No because this is a Zone edit and its done with model editing
Q: How do i use this pack?
A: Put the patch-HF.MPQ to your data folder, rename the filename to patch-3.MPQ or anything up to patch-9.MPQ. Be sure that your MPQ is written with capital characters. Start up MEF and start walking around HoFJ.
Q: I went to HF but it didn't work!
A: Read the text marked with *
If still won't work then: Make sure you have Model Edit Fix.
Im not an expert with making videos so don't expect too much of it.
Anyways enjoy!

A: No because this is a Zone edit and its done with model editing
Zone edit, meaning it is an edit, oriented and triggered by a particular area in-game, right?
So, as long as it is zone-oriented, any random file replacement is a 'model edit'?
So if I, by example, replace the ambient sounds of ashenvale to random songs from 2pac's greatest hits, it is a model edit, eaventhough it is audible and has nothing to do with game graphics?
If you nod your head while reading, agreeing to this definition of a 'model-edit', then you are, by prinicps, telling me that the correct meaning of the phrase; "model-editing" --- Has nothing, Absolutley nothing, What so Ever, to do with actually editing models?
I agree it is a modification, an auditive modification, but Not a model edit since there's no model-modification involved. Actually, there's nothing visual about this at all.
File replacement* does not have the same meaning as* model-editing, so; No, it's not "done with model editing", and therefore; Yes, I think this should have been posted in the UI forum.
But it's nice to have an uptempo song to litsen to, and it's quite a good one too, so I'll give you that.
