Quote: This is the first reskinning project I undertook, so any critiques are more than welcome.

It's just a simple recoloring of the Ghost Wolf texture.

PLEASE NOTE: This patch will affect ALL wolves with the Coyote skin, which includes the wolves in Mulgore and I forget where all else. Possibly Elwynn Forest, too. So if you use it, be warned. :p

Changes:
  • Brown/yellow fur to white/gray fur.
  • Reduced "snarl" on upper lip
  • Added femtroll eye texture to get rid of the demonic stare. :p
  • Choice of eye colors: grass green (see image) or sky blue.

I apologize for the crap picture. It's rather difficult to get a decent shot of a semi-transparent model, since you need strong lighting in front of a dark background.

Green-eyed version is HERE.

Blue-eyed version is HERE. (NOTE: Be sure to RENAME the file as patch-C.MPQ - I have appended bluewolf_ to the front of the filename so they don't get mixed up if you download both.)

Also, if anyone reading this tried to add me on Yahoo!, I apologize; I misclicked on the "Approve so-and-so?" dialogue box and may have denied you accidentally, so please try again!

Quote: Im running a private server, i was hoping you could do it as all my GMs are going to have the same custom red armor and i think the red spectral would look sweet as a mount for them.

Quote: Eergh. Well, without any easy way to test the patch, I can't guarantee it will work. The skin is a little wonky as the transparency appears to be part of the skin itself, not a spell effect, so the converter I use freaks out a bit over it. But I'll poke at it soon and see if I can't get an MPQ up for you to download so you can test it, and I'll tweak it as necessary if I can.

Tonight, though, I'm writing a paper and don't really have the time.
