I am questing with a friend using on azerothcore, collecting animal parts. When we are in group loot, we are each able to loot our respective mobs and get the quest items. If we switch to free for all, only the party leader is able to loot the quest items off of the mobs. The other party member cannot loot the quest items until after the leader has collected theirs. Is there anyway to fix this?

Stop killing things, make sure is in FFA then kill things, and see if the non-party leader can loot.

we have done this, we have also reassembled the team with different group leaders each time. each time it is only the group leader that is able to loot the quest items, until they have looted enough to satisfy the quest requirement.
