Well I've used 8.4 with all those cores I mentioned with zero issues so there's no real reason not to use it

Okay, so with mySQL 8.4, there should be zero issue, I understand that. I am going to try to remove mariaDB, install mysql8.4 on macos and will see if two servers on different port will work in harmony, thanks for your patience!

Enter current password for root (enter for none):

MariaDB is no longer a thing for AC. You can just disregard any guide mentioning it as outdated.
