The only working raspi solution I read about was 2 raspi 4s, 8gb RAM each. One for the MySql server and one for the core.

Right now my vanilla AC server, though it has playerbots, uses 2.9GB and MySQL uses 2.5GB. A lot of bots speed up how quickly RAM increases but even with players it will increase over time. Both MySQL and worldserver were restarted yesterday and there's only 300-400 bots on it. A server with tbc and wotlk enabled will make it worse since it has more maps to deal with.
