Hello, I am going through the step by step process to install azerothcore and since I used to install another WoW server about a year ago, I do have some stuff installed already. Therefore it is difficult to follow the guide as some programs, such as mysql or visual studio, are already installed on my PC.
How can I make sure the desktop developement with C++ is already installed?

It loads from Spell.dbc and spell_dbc is only used to override existing spells.

If they're already installed just make sure they're up-to-date. OpenSSL 3, Visual Studio 2022 and MySQL 8.0, 8.3 or 9.0.

I see that i have mysql 5.5 installed for the other WoW project or even another game. Now when trying to go through the server installations, I struggle. For example, under MySQL Server installation when typing in the root password which I always use, I get this.
What should I do in that case?

I don't know. I've never seen that one, never performed an upgrade on Windows.
