I probably didn't mention a lot of things..... that's my bad. I'm installing azerothcore using the bash dashboard set up. So my question is after doing everything in that guide is it setup already for me and family members in the same local network to start playing together?

Or is it only setup to be able to connect to the server through the same computer the server is on

The moment you got AC running. It's a matter of changing the settings on the realmlist (in acore_auth) to match the IP of the machine is hosting. If it's only to be used in the same network keep both address and localaddress the same
