I made a new DB and I still get the same exact error msg for some reason.

I think I found the issue, but I dont know how to change this. I am not running the DB it is pointing tio locally anymore but in the cmake command it shows this

Am I not able to compile if I dont have that version of MySQL installed locally? Even thought my database is remote?

i cannot `sudo apt install mysql-server` on the debian 11 system because i still have the mariadb in use by other services, i was going to point the acore server at a remote db. but it wont let me install and compile with cmake unless i have the local files for mysql??
