Delete the modules folder from the source code and recompile, delete the database and run the worldserver to restore it to default

when you say delete the database you just mean the world db right?

If you only delete World then you'll still have your characters I suppose

I'm not sure whether you have to drop acore entirely to cause the worldserver to rebuild the DB structure from scratch, or whether merely deleting components will cause it not to try a rebuild and just fail because there's stuff missing.
